Senior Piping Engineer

Position
The company works in the offshore and marine sector and the primary responsibilities includes: Development of piping and valve specifications for offshore applications, mainly marine service but in some cases also hydrocarbon process.

Stress and flow calculations, piping and equipment layout, development of detail drawings, system engineering (P&ID development), inspection, mechanical completion and commissioning at shipyards and other sites around the world.

Profile
The ideal candidate has qualifications and competencies which primarily include: Completion of a M.Sc. degree in Mechanical engineering, Naval architecture or similar. Minimum 10 years experience of relevant piping engineering experience, preferably from marine systems or oil/cargo handling.

Design experience from offshore and/or petrochemical applications, long and recent design experience with PDMS and long experience with piping stress calculations

Good knowledge about piping design standards, documented experience from development of piping and valve classes and experience from detail design and construction of piping systems.

Communicates fluently in both English and Swedish.
